Some have rhymes to guide the reader and allure the audiences. The basic point of poetry is to describe something narratively while using every event, word and line sparingly.

Understanding poetry is also important. Most poetry focuses on context, connotations and denotations. When reading poetry, one should consider the social structures of the era it was written, the personality of the writer and what they focus on. Poetry is a gift of humanity to the arts. It is to entertain, to be thoughtful, to show compassion and express one?s self.
